After the disaster that was Colonial Marines it really is time for a good game in the franchise.
The survival horror genre is probably the best choice that can capture that atmosphere of constant dread and danger.
I remember how scared I was when I played the first AvP (with the
marine) game back in 1999 and that was a FPS … imagine a survival

Alien Isolation game is set in 2137 year. You will play as Amanda,
daughter of Ellen Ripley. The game is based on Amanda’s investigation
about the disappearance of her mother. While investigating about
Amanda’s mother in the space station, you will encounter an Alien.
However, there will be only one Alien in the whole game which can not be
trifled with. So, you have to use your stealthy skills to remain
undetected from this Alien. The Alien can detect you by sight, sound and
smell. And you can take covers behind objects to hide from the Alien.
You can also get inside a locker for hiding yourself and even you have
to sometime hold Amanda’s breath to avoid making sound. In the gameplay,
you may use weapons which will be only effective against human
occupants and android working joes (similar to robots). Moreover, you
will be provided with a flashlight and a motion detector which will help
you to detect Alien. So, get ready to have a dose of stealthy survival
horror game
